Request Data Deletion

Your Right: Under GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws, you have the right to request deletion of your personal data. SpiceWorx respects this right and will process deletion requests within 30 days.
What Data Can Be Deleted?
We can delete the following information upon request:
- Contact Information: Name, email, phone, company name
- Project Details: Project descriptions, requirements, communications
- Communication Records: Email exchanges, chat messages, form submissions
- Payment Information: Credit card numbers (we don't store these), billing addresses
- Account Data: User profiles, login credentials, account settings
- Analytics Data: User behavior tracking, IP logs (after 30 days retention)
- Chat Conversations: AI Assistant chat history (session data only)
What Data Cannot Be Deleted?
Certain information may be retained for legal, contractual, or operational reasons:
- Legal Obligations: Tax records, financial records required by law (minimum 7 years in Philippines)
- Contract Fulfillment: Information needed to complete ongoing projects or services
- Dispute Resolution: Data needed for pending legal claims or arbitration
- Server Backups: Information in archived backups (deleted from active systems within 30 days)
- Anonymous/Aggregated Data: Data that cannot identify you individually
How to Request Data Deletion
Step 1: Prepare Your Request
Gather the following information to make your request clear and verifiable:
- Full name as it appears in our records
- Email address associated with your account or communications
- Phone number (if provided to us)
- Any project IDs or dates of service
- Description of the data you wish to delete (optional but helpful)
Step 2: Submit Your Request
Send your data deletion request to SpiceWorx using one of these methods:
Email (Recommended)
Send an email to hello@spiceworx.com with the subject line:
Data Deletion Request - [Your Full Name]
Include the information from Step 1 in the email body.
Send a message to +63-927-648-0800:
"I request deletion of my personal data from SpiceWorx. My name is [your name], email is [your email]. Please confirm receipt of this request."
Postal Mail
Send a signed letter to:

Include your full name, email, phone, and reason for deletion request.
Step 3: Verification
After receiving your request, we will:
- Send you a confirmation email acknowledging receipt
- Verify your identity (ask for additional information if needed)
- Confirm which data we can delete (and explain any limitations)
- Provide an estimated timeline for completion
Step 4: Data Deletion
Once verified, we will:
- Delete your personal data from all active systems within 30 days
- Notify you by email when deletion is complete
- Provide a confirmation of what was deleted
- Explain any data retained for legal or contractual reasons
Processing Timeline

Important Information
Identity Verification
We verify your identity before processing deletion requests to protect your privacy and prevent unauthorized access to your data. We may ask for:
- Last 4 digits of credit card (if provided)
- Passport or ID number (in case of identity disputes)
- Confirmation of past communications or projects
Partial Deletion
If you request deletion of specific data only, we will delete that information while retaining other necessary information for ongoing services or legal compliance.
No Reactivation
Once deleted, your data cannot be recovered. If you later wish to use our services again, you will need to provide information anew.
No Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising your right to delete data. You will continue to receive the same service quality and pricing.
Special Circumstances
Active Projects
If you have an active development project or ongoing hosting service, we will discuss which data can be safely deleted without affecting service delivery. We may retain technical data necessary to keep your website or application running.
Dispute or Legal Hold
If there is a pending dispute, legal claim, or arbitration, we may retain your data as needed for that process, even after deletion request.
Financial Records
Tax and accounting records are retained for minimum 7 years as required by Philippine law. These may not be deleted, though we can anonymize personally identifying information.
Your Rights
In addition to deletion, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format (CSV, PDF, JSON)
- Opt-Out: Stop receiving marketing communications
- Object: Object to processing for analytics or marketing
- Withdraw Consent: Withdraw permission for data processing
All requests are handled under GDPR, CCPA, and local privacy laws.
